LEISURE
We support people to access a range of leisure activities including: swimming, ten pin bowling, managing an allotment, walking and joining local conservation groups.
In the summer our "leisure weeks" allow people to try new activities and visit new places. Recent examples have included visits to the local police and fire brigade, science classes, music sessions and exploring Italian, Polish and Indian Cookery, together with overnight stays in Northumberland and visits to places like The Deep, National Railway Museum and Harewood House.

OUTREACH WORK
Staff can provide support in the evening with activities such as social events, providing support with shopping, food preparation and other domestic tasks or giving carers a break for a few hours.

GOING OUT WITH FRIENDS
People are supported to plan with 1 or 2 of their friends where they want to go. We have supported visits to the theatre and cinema, football and speedway matches, visits to pubs, restaurants or nightclubs as well as going to watch live bands and concerts.

LINK UP ADVOCACY GROUP
One evening a month we meet in a Ripon pub to share concerns and campaign on important issues. This is facilitated by an experienced advocacy professional. Anyone from the local area is very welcome to join this informal gathering.
